CNB-MAC 2023 Travel Award Information

Deadline: August 4, 2023 August 5, 2023
Notifications: August 7, 2023 August 9, 2023

We have travel funds available for graduate students to attend CNB-MAC, funded by the National Science Foundation. Travel funds may cover conference registration, two nights of accommodation, and travel to and from the conference. The funds may fully or partially fund the conference travel. Students will register for the full ACM-BCB conference: awardees must attend CNB-MAC on September 3rd in Houston, TX.

Eligibility

Travel funds are available for graduate and undergraduate students from U.S. institutions who have an interest in computational network biology. In addition to considering students who are presenting work at CNB-MAC, we expect to fund students for whom this workshop is their first conference experience, students from groups that are historically marginalized in computational biology, and students who may not have authored work at the meeting.

Acceptance of travel funds are contingent on attending the full day of the CNB-MAC workshop on September 3rd. We encourage applicants to submit work (including posters) to the workshop, though this is not required in order to apply.

Application Process – Applications are Due August 4, 2023
