Original Research Papers
CNB-MAC welcomes original research papers that have not been published before and are not currently under review by another conference or journal.
Format Requirements: Your initial submission may be in any format with these requirements: use 8.5 x 11 inch paper, at least 1 inch margins, at least 10 point font, not to exceed 10 pages (including figures/tables/captions and not including references). References may exceed the 10 pages. You might consider using the ACM sigconf template (can be obtained at: ACM template). You will submit a PDF of your manuscript through EasyChair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cnbmac2023
Submissions from ACM-BCB Main Conference
We welcome submissions of original research articles that were not accepted to the ACM-BCB 2023 main conference. Notifications from ACM-BCB should come out on June 24 July 7; we will accept late submissions if this deadline shifts.
Acceptance Details
Upon acceptance, authors are invited to give an ORAL PRESENTATION on the paper during the CNB-MAC workshop on September 3rd. Authors will be asked to post a preprint of their accepted paper prior to the workshop so the URL can be included on the schedule.
We are negotiating with journals to publish a special issue of CNB-MAC papers that have been accepted to the workshop. Select CNB-MAC papers will be invited to the review process for that journal, with a deadline after the workshop itself. Acceptance in the special issue is contingent upon (a) presenting the work at CNB-MAC, (b) addressing the reviewers comments (and any other reviews that the journal seeks for the manuscript), and (c) paying any article processing fees.
Poster Abstracts
We invite authors to submit poster abstracts to present their latest research findings at the workshop.
Format Requirements: Please prepare a one page abstract that includes the poster title, authors and affiliations, and a brief description of the research findings. The full poster is not needed at the time of submission. You will submit a PDF of the one-page abstract through EasyChair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cnbmac2023
Upon acceptance, authors will prepare a poster that will be presented at the CNB-MAC POSTER SESSION on September 3rd. More details about the poster size and session will be provided before the workshop.
