Thanks to the generous support provided by the National Science Foundation (NSF), Student Travel Awards will be given to US-based student authors of outstanding research papers and posters that have been invited for presentation at CNB-MAC 2018. To be eligible, the potential applicant should be a student at the time of paper/poster submission.
Furthermore, to promote diversity in the emerging field of computational network biology, we have reserved a portion of the travel awards for minority students who will attend CNB-MAC/ACM-BCB for the first time and do not have a presentation at the workshop/conference.
In order to apply for the award, please send the following application materials to Prof. Ranadip Pal <ranadip.pal@ttu.edu>:
- Cover letter, describing the applicant’s current affiliation and student status, main research interests, research/academic achievements, paper/poster title and submission ID (only for student authors)
- Current CV
- Support letter from research/academic advisor confirming the applicant’s student and/or minority status
Application deadline is Aug 1, 2018 (Wed). If you have any questions regarding the travel award or the application procedure, please contact Prof. Ranadip Pal <ranadip.pal@ttu.edu>.
