The 6th CNB-MAC workshop was held in Niagara Falls, NY, on September 7, 2019. The workshop featured 10 original research papers, 1 highlight presentation, and 3 posters.
We would like to thank everyone who has attended the workshop! Furthermore, we would like to thank our technical program committee members, session chairs, and the ACM-BCB organizers – especially the workshop chairs Prof. Wei Zhang (University of Central Florida) and Prof. Xia Ning (Ohio State University). Without their help, we couldn’t have successfully organized the workshop.
We have a few post-workshop announcements:
- Congratulations to everyone who has received a Student Travel Award! Please submit the required forms as instructed in the award notification email so that the award can be processed as soon as possible. For any questions about the award, please directly contact the Award Chair (Prof. Ranadip Pal <ranadip.pal@ttu.edu>).
- The revised manuscripts for original research papers presented at CNB-MAC 2019 will be reviewed during the next couple of weeks, and authors will hear about the final decisions and journal assignments in a month or so. After the review, the authors will get a final chance to address any additional suggestions made by the reviewers before submitting the final manuscript to BMC.
Finally, here are the group photos that we took at the end of the workshop:
Thank you again for your participation! We look forward to seeing many of you next year at CNB-MAC 2020.
